The status quo of trade between China and Southeast Asian countries

1. The status of trade with Southeast Asia in my country's foreign trade

Southeast Asia includes 11 countries or regions including Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand. In recent years, the trade exchanges in Southeast Asia have become closer. In recent years, the proportion of total imports and exports with Southeast Asian countries in my country's total imports and exports has shown an upward trend, from 9.17% in 2005 to 11.17% in 2014.

2. my country's current trade status with Southeast Asian countries

In Southeast Asia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam have relatively close trade contacts with my country, accounting for more than 80% of Southeast Asia's trade with my country.

Among them, the fastest-growing trade with my country is Myanmar, which increased from US$4442.07 million in 2010 to US$24968.93 million in 2014, an increase of 462.1%;

Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam are also on the rise;

However, among the countries that have a relatively large amount of trade with my country in Southeast Asia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand have shown a downward trend in their share of total trade with my country in recent years. Only Vietnam has an upward trend.
